Just in case you missed out on this, as I almost did, ‘Danger Ahead’ really is another treat from the voice which adorned the classic The Daou ‘Surrender Yourself’ amongst many others. Lifted from the forthcoming album 'Light Sweet Crude - Act One: Hybrid' its dirty, bass driven lines are suitably offset by the bittersweet and rather breathy vocals, accompanied by strident piano chords and classy House beats on DJ Hen’s Boogie Extended Mix. A further eight versions are also available varying the style. Second track ‘Dirty Blonde’ plays an altogether different game with down-tempo grooves and even more sultry vocals.4 out of 5
